Meeting of RAWS and AIMVIA boards

The AMVIA board was delighted to welcome RAWS board members to part of the AIMVIA board meeting held in Sydney on Monday, 21st September. Discussions centred on the common goals of both associations and the aims of various policy discussions held with officials.

The meeting concluded with both boards agreeing to explore further the common ground and policy statements enabling strengthened representation of the industry to officials and the Regulator.

Meetings with Government

In early September AIMVIA president, Jack Sandher, and Vice President, Ross Pendergast, and Chief Executive, David Vinsen, attended a number of meetings with elected representatives and government officials in Canberra.

The meetings were successful, providing the opportunity to present the association’s concerns and gain feedback on possible changes to the industry following the review of the MVSA and other legislation.
