MVSA Review Industry Consultation

AIMVIA continues to consult with DIRD following the industry meeting held in Canberra on 31st March. AIMVIA President together with key AIMVIA management have met DIRD representatives again in Canberra on 31st May, and have scheduled another meeting for 5 July, continuing to engage in dialogue with the Ministry and Officials to work towards common ground on the MVSA Review and proposed criteria refinements within the SEVS requirements.

AIMVIA Board meets with Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association (AAAA)

The AIMVIA Board recently welcomed AAAA Executive Director Stuart Charity as a guest to a Board Meeting. The purpose was to explore areas of common ground and policy development between the two Associations, and concluded with an excellent understanding between AIMVIA and AAAA over mutual industry challenges and legislative barriers. Both Associations have agreed to look towards a closer working relationship around these areas of commonality.
